What sports/physical activities are good for someone with Cystic Fibrosis? - cystic fibrosis merchandise

I want my daughter to participate well in certain sports / physical activities. Only 3 years. She has cystic fibrosis. We live in New York and go much, she let her breath often when we walk and climb hills. But the doctors say it's good for your lungs are working. What are the best sports and other physical activities, which should get your share?

Regular exercise improves the health of patients with cystic fibrosis. Exercise helps to loosen the mucus that promotes the cough, improves the flow of oxygen and makes you feel better. Upper body exercises such as swimming or rowing, increase strength and endurance of respiratory muscles.

After consultation with your doctor about how exercise is good for your child, you encourage your child to participate in sport and leisure. Team sports are great ways for your child to keep fit and interact with other children. Talk to your coach or manager on the abilities of your child and the important role of physical activity in the treatment of cystic fibrosis.

Some patients with cystic fibrosis may not be strong enough to participate in certain activities. Your doctor may change the amount and type of exercise recommended for you. Or you can work with a physical therapist to develop your own exercise program.

Anything and everything. For a 3y / o, run, run, jump into one of those baby swings (if you're still, and most children with CF are light and small) for his age. Marelle. A trampoline (but still a little practice or) on the outside. Swimming. Tumbling / Gymnastics (arrived at these places with me, even for children like you). Breaks. Horse riding (apparently in the saddle, not only when young).

Do not tell me when asthma and evil. Many CF. As you must be careful, a portable nebulizer (you have these new laptops running on batteries and can operate with a mask, I think, for Omron with your breath and salbutamol, ask) your pulmonologist. However, all physical activity in all lung function, sick or healthy increases. Just be careful to push the limits, if you start wheezing or vice versa, out of breath, and keep medicines handy during an asthma attack.

Furthermore, I know, I know, but keep busy with the CPT. Get a life, ifCAN - was literally a lifesaver for my son because my wife and I have severe tendonitis, when our daughter was 4 and could not give applause without much pain. I can not imagine what it would be after 14 years without a vest. Our daughter is still very healthy) with outstanding PFT and only 3 companies melody Hospital after 14 years with (almost exclusively the vest one of them for the weight. The last two developed hospital advised me to wear the vest with us because it helps the treatment that the therapist can be improved. www.thevest.com - just a very satisfied customer.
